Cheddar, with its world famous gorge is only 5 miles away.     Wells, (13 miles) is the smallest Cathedral City in England.      Another must is Glastonbury and the famous Tor (19 miles).     Georgian Bath (28 miles) is within easy distance.       Weston-super-Mare (7 miles) is the nearest beach resort.       The nearby town of Clevedon has coastal walks and a famous pier.       Portishead has a new Marina  you can walk around.    Bristol with SS Great Britain, Zoo and Clifton Suspension bridge is a worthwhile trip (20 miles).
