Welcome to the page about our CL. For visitors to our website who aren’t caravanners, a CL is the designation The Caravan Club gives to a small site that is authorised to take up to maximum of five caravans at any one time.

The pitches are in a quiet, regularly mown paddock adjacent to the four self-catering holiday cottages that are also on site. The grounds themselves are well-tended, with a range of plants, trees and shrubs. Fresh water and chemical disposal are within a few metres of the pitches, and electrical hook-up is provided for all pitches. The cost is included in the daily rate. The CL is usually open from April until the end of October

We are in a beautiful part of Somerset, surrounded by farm and National Trust land in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. All the pitches enjoy views across the patchwork of fields that make up the Loxton Valley. There is an abundance of bird life - as well as our chickens that roam free in the grounds (fresh eggs are often available).

We are within 15 minutes of Junctions 21 and 22 on the M5, making it the ideal place to break your journey as well as a popular site for an extended stay. We have many regulars who come back to us time and again.

If you have friends or relatives who do not caravan themselves, why not book them into one of our self-catering cottages, and stay on the CL yourselves? We offer a discount on the daily rate if you make a combined booking.
